Fiberglass docks in Gatineau/Ottawa

New in 2008, Fibre de Verre 2000 pioneers the world of fiberglass again by giving you a completely removable fiberglass boat dock. They are build from the ground up to be easily removed each year from the water by 2 people.

These docks are 5 feet by 10 feet and are able to withstand 300 lbs of weight with a great stability and buoyancy. They have a built-in set of permanent wheels at the extremities that facilitate taking it out of the water whenever you need it & everything has been done to prevent water infiltration between the foam and fiberglass to make it a perfectly waterproof structure. The fabrication is quite simple: we apply a dense fiberglass layer directly over a polystyrene foam specially made cut for this application. The fiberglass-polystyrene foam mix is really good for great buoyancy that you will rely on for years to come!
